Writer and friend Kira Wuck invited me to create visuals for a reading of Gilgamesh or what is also called ‘the oldest poem of the world’.

Gilgamesh is a fierce guy, a son of the gods. He’s traveling long and far to find immortality. To portray his heroic journey I made a series of stop-motion animations, showing a range of landscapes and circumstances. Gilgamesh being an abstract shape changing the landscape as he goes along. These animations were made with paint, water and pictures I took during my own travels in India and China.

On this page they are shown as (shorter) gifs.
